Anim School Animation

I finally graduated from AnimSchool. Here is my final Animation:

More Sculptures

These are several of the sculptures I've been able to create over the last couple years. A number of others are in various locations. Several which have been given away as gifts.

Animating with Archs

Had fun animating this little guy over 2 days. I did the foreground animating in one day and then placed it in a CG scene in Maya over the next day. Check it out.

Anim School Class: Animating Characters

Just Finished my first AnimSchool Class. Excited to get back into some more character animation. Here are my first three Assignments:

More Sculpures

Disney Planes: Aerial Previs work

Disney Planes. I've spent the last 2 years working on the Flight for Planes under the supervision of the flight master, Jason McKinley. Take a Look. I worked on about half the shots in the trailer below. Here is a short making of video: http://www.reviewsontherun.com/all/type-of/previews/behind-the-scenes-of-planes

Disney's Planes

Coming out this Week! Here is the sculpt of Dusty that I am working on.

Oil Painting

Rio Club sequence

One of the sequences I worked on in "Rio". The club sequence was super dynamic and a lot of fun. I love the camera language we established. You can see a lot of my Camera & Staging rough shots throughout the above clip.

Art Blocks For Ghana Project

This is my piece, for the Art Blocks for Ghana Project. It will be up for auction, in upcoming months. You can go here for more info. It pictures my daughter by the window holding her little doll. Being my second oil painting, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Tonal Painting

Actually my First Oil painting, I was just trying to use two colors to start out. Keep it simple.

I did crop the bottom of the image, to get a little better composition than what I threw down.

Reel Update

You Tube Reel

Animating during a Power Outage

Well, we had a power outage at work so, I decided to do this quick little animation that my 2 year old daughter so graciously helped me with.

Animating on Pres. Day

You Tube Version

Random, but Fun little Animation.

I did this one a few days ago. Playing around in Flash

So... one thing I felt I was successful with this time around, is that I didn't need to amplify my contrast in photoshop, I was able to get enough contrast during the process of the digital painting, though I did do a bit of a glow from the window over most of the image.

Another rough one, based off a picture a friend of mine sent me. It captured a nice moment in time.

This is another work in progress.

Put another several hours into this version.

Still in the Clouds

I started pushing some grays around in the screen until it evolved into this image. I was actually trying to stay away from the typical shafts of light, but once again, they came out in the painting. ha! No reference here. Just my head in the clouds.
